The Lake

Formally known as ‘La Fritterie’ the lake holds in around 200 large carp, the largest being a Mirror in excess of 75lbs+ along with a number of 60lb+ Mirrors and Commons, the largest to date being 67.8lb. In total, the lakes features 11 swims, 2 of which are for wheelchair users only.

And several could be used as ‘doubles’ and all contain a number of features, the most prominent of these being the large plateau in the main bay however there are also a number of other interesting humps and bumps along with several bars and gulley’s which run down the lake.

With an average depth of between 9’-11’ depending on the time of the year, there is no weed to worry about and the combination of gravel and clay bottom make rig and bait presentation very easy.
